"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal. That they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights. That among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.

That to secure these Rights, Governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. That whenever any form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or abolish it, laying it's foundation on such principles and organizing it's powers in such form, as shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness." *

Enter the TEA Party.

We, the people, having enjoyed the good fortune of these United Sates of America, have witnessed the unbridled growth of powers and principalities, of authorities and corporations, so that the simple will of the common man is thwarted, neglected and perverted within the current exercise of government and commerce.

The common citizen, posessing common sense, has suffered the decay and dismantling of sound moral order, become oppressed by the burden of excessive taxation, regulation, and insurance. And has become disillusioned, if not despondent, with the lack of character in our political and business leaders.

NOW, THEREFORE, WE CITIZENS of the United States of America do re-affirm our Rights as Citizens and assert our Independence from un-elected Authorities, Corporate monopolies, Judicial tyrannies and other such organizations and efforts that usurp and vexate the power of the People, to the People's detriment and demise.

Having declared our Independence from these power paradigms that have stolen what belongs to the governed, WE CITIZENS take it upon ourselves to organize, unite and speak with a single Voice to DEMAND a return to common sense, decency, and a diminished influence of big government and big business dominating our Lives, destroying our Liberty, and defeating our Pursuit of Happiness.

Our effort to organize will resemble something of a political party. But not a third party, but a cultural Party that transcends the bi-party system that has served well in the past and needs re-calibration to serve well in the future. Our efforts will re-invigorate the bi-party democratic process.

As we witness our government grasping for more power and control,  we stand to confront tyranny. Violence is always the progeny of tyranny. So,as peace loving citizens, our effort is foresight to prevent blood and violence in the streets.

We stand to abort the growth of tyranny, terminate injustice, and relieve the suffocating financial burden on the citizenry. We organize to restore a balance of political powers, promote moral and ethical behavior, demand respect for Life, and encourage peaceful co-existence.

"And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the Protection of Divine Providence, WE mutually pledge to each other, our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor."*
